Dr. Reina Rodriguez will be our featured speaker at Triad NOW’s October meeting. Rodriguez is an immigrant activist and domestic violence survivor from El Salvador facing possible deportation in January. In El Salvador, she delivered babies and performed surgery. After coming here with a visa, she worked in a factory and other minimum wage level jobs until she was hired for a health related opportunity. She can tell you stories that will curl your hair! She spoke at the Winston-Salem Lights for Liberty event Triad NOW organized.
Our meetings are free and open to the public.
